We offer an array of homemade products for sale in our cafe and on our shelves, alongside the finest artisan producers from around Europe. Our homemade range, produced onsite and at our production kitchen nearby, includes traditional English fayre (quiches, scotch eggs, pies, sausage rolls etc), a daily changing self-serve salad bar, sandwiches, soups, cakes and pastries, as well as jams, chutneys and dips on our shop shelves.
We are looking for a replacement for our current CDP, who is leaving us at the end of the year. This role, based mainly at our production kitchen, includes preparation of all the items mentioned above, with a particular requirement for baking of cakes, brownies, flapjacks and cookies. It also involves occasional shifts at our onsite kitchen, unmanaged, when they are required to manage the Sandwich Maker, cook off our daily fresh deli items, finish salads, and place orders.
The position should appeal to someone looking to move away from long hours and evening shifts and join a small friendly kitchen team.
We are offering a starting salary of £25k +bonuses with statutory annual leave
